Project Housing

This makes an excellent housing for small or compact electronic projects. The plastic end caps have slotted protrusions for easy mounting. By replacing the plastic end caps with sheet metal, a well shielded enclosure is formed.

The extrusion is bare aluminium on the inside, with a black powder coat on the outside.

A small finned section and internal blocked area allow components to be secured for heat transfer to the extrusion.

Circuit boards of the correct dimensions can be slid into slots on the inside walls.

  • Supplied with 2 moulded plastic end caps and 8 screws.
  • Additional end caps are available.

  • Readily drilled and machined.

  • Weight is approximately 1kg per meter.

    • Automotive electronic enclosure
    • Industrial electronic enclosure
    • Hobby electronic enclosure
