PMBACS - Switch Modules

The PMBACS switch modules provide the day-to-day user interface to the system.

The sitches are inteligent interface modulesthat can be configured to suit many switching or interfacing requirements.

The features are roughly divided into hardware and operational. The Hardware list describes the physical properties of the hardware components. The Operational list relates more to how the system works.

Hardware Features

  • The switch modules are circuit boards that can be incorporated into plastic plates for wall mounting. They mount in standard single flush boxes (not the really shallow ones).

  • They generally have the same front panel size as standard light switches ( about 74mm wide by 119mm high) but can be assembled into just about any format.
  • Custom front panel artwork and colouring can be supplied at a reasonable extra charge.

Operational Features

  • The switch modules provide one circuit through multiple circuits of control.

  • Each switch module supports a single occupancy detection PIR sensor.
  • Each switch module includes an internal room light level sensor.
  • Basic special functions can be configured within each switch module such as auto-lights.
