Within New Zealand

Within New Zealand there are typically three package sizes:

    Small

      Fits into a 260x190mm courier bag. This includes most small items and circuit boards (packaging material must also fit into the bag).
      Charge is $5.00 + GST

    Medium

      Requires a box, and weighs less than 5Kg.
      Charge is $10.00 + GST

    Large

      Requires a box, and weighs more than 5Kg.
      Charge depends on size, shape and weight. Email for pricing.

International

Internationally there are typically three package sizes:

    Small

      A small parcel that weighs less than 0.5Kg. This covers most small orders.

        Zone "A" Charge is $8.00 (Australia approx. $6.55 AUD)
        Zone "B" Charge is $10.00
        Zone "C" Charge is $10.00 (USA approx. $4.25 USD)
        Zone "D" Charge is $12.00 (Europe approx. $3.60 GBP)
        Zone "E" Charge is $15.00

    Medium

      A small parcel that weighs between 0.5Kg and 1Kg.

        Zone "A" Charge is $12.00 (Ausralia approx. $10.20 AUD)
        Zone "B" Charge is $12.00
        Zone "C" Charge is $16.00 (USA approx. $6.80 USD)
        Zone "D" Charge is $20.00 (Europe approx. $6.00 GBP)
        Zone "E" Charge is $25.00

    Large

      A small parcel that weighs more than 1Kg.

        Charge depends on size, weight and destination. Email for pricing.

The above prices are for Air Post International.

Economy is much slower and not much cheaper, Courier is not much faster, much more expensive, but is supposed to be more secure and better tracked.

I recommend Courier for small to medium sized packages of high value.

Postal zones are defined by New Zealand Post as:

      Zone "A" = Australia
      Zone "B" = South Pacific
      Zone "C" = East Asia & North America
      Zone "D" = Europe, including Great Britain
      Zone "E" = Rest of the world

        (Russia, Middle East, South Africa, India, Mexico, South America)

A small parcel is defined by New Zealand Post as:

      Maximum weight of 2Kg
      Length + width + depth of 900mm with no dimension more than 600mm
